The Master class is open to choral conductors, music students teachers, singers and non - active participants without age restriction upon preliminary requestThe idea for this "laboratorium" for choral activities was conceived by Krikor Chetinyan, one of the leading Bulgarian choral conductors and pedagogue in Academy of Music and Dance Art- Plovdiv and National Academy of Music- Sofia and Krastin Nastev - young choir and orchestra conductor. 

It has been designed to give to the choral conductors the opportunity to work with masters of thee conducting art.

Maestro Chetinyan passed away unexpectedly in the beginning of 2018 leaving huge legacy. His students today are all over the world and his recordings show his enormous musical achievements and contribution for Bulgarian choral art as part of the world choir family. 

This year we decided to invite Frieder Bernius - one of the most important names nowadays, conductor of one of the best choir - Stuttgart Kammerchor, conductor of Hofkapelle Stuttgart, excellent interpreter of  ancient music and critical editor for Carus Verlag. 

The Masterclass includes podium time with choir, private coaching, and seminars and will conclude with a public performance in the beautiful hall of the Historical Museum of Plovdiv. 


The participants may apply as follow: 
            - Active participants
            - Non-active (participant with possibilities to sing in the participant’s choir)

The languages of the course are : English, German, Bulgarian (Spanish possibly)
