Chamber Choir 



The Collegium Musicum Berlin Chamber Choir was founded in 1989 as a chamber choir of the Free and Technical Universities in Berlin.
The Chamber Choir performs mainly a cappella music and sometimes choir symphonic pieces with chamber orchestras. The programs vary from the renaissance music to contemporary pieces of the 21st century.

The Chamber Choir also regularly takes part in international festivals and competitions in France, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Czech republic etc.
The choir is a winner of several prizes, for example the 2nd Prize at the 35th International Choir Competition in Varna in 2014, 2nd Prize at the
33rd International Choir Competition in Vic, Spain and in 2016 the 1st Prizes at the categories contemporary music, general category and folkore, as well as  the Prize of the “Absolute winner” of the Grand Prix  competition  at the 44th International Competition in Olomouc, Czech republic. In 2017 the choir won two gold medals and two special prizes at the Grand Prix of Nations in Berlin.
Donka Miteva is the conductor of the choir since 2011.
